Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh International Student Peer Network website!
Hail to Pitt!
About ISPN
The International Student Peer Network at Pitt (ISPN) was established in the Spring of 2021, during the pandemic. It was founded to provide academic and social support to international students in PittEd when they were far away from home. Since then, we have continued to provide international students with peer support in academics, life, health, social, career and other aspects through online and offline activities.
To support PittEd international graduate students and those with interests in international education, we set our missions as:
-
Creating a multilingual, inclusive, friendly, and tight network
-
Providing resources and opportunities for academic success and career preparation
-
Fostering a belongingness within the school and university, and thus strengthen international diversity in PittEd
What We Do
ISPN offers a range of projects and initiatives to support and connect PittEd international students, including social and cultural events, a success support hub, international student community-building, and event promotion.
Social-Cultural Collective
ISPN hosts social and cultural events to promote cross-cultural exchange and connection among PittEd international students. Our events, including international festivals and various exploration activities, offer opportunities for students to learn about different cultures, build friendships with local students, and enhance their experience in the US.
